Job description

Campus Facilities ManagerSoft Services Governance

Are you ready to lead the interface between the customer and the service delivery organisation across a range of services to people and/or assets? As a Campus Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial governance of the soft service provision service which includes catering, cleaning, events and workplace experience. You will maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers to incorporate future demand with the FM & Campus strategy.

You will be jointly accountable for setting the direction for FM Soft Services and improving its overall performance. You will lead and influence cultural change and a step change in performance across FM. You will support the delivery of the FM Integrated Management System through proactive ownership of identified elements within it. You will drive supplier performance improvement and develop service strategies that ensure security of supply and optimum performance. You will ensure appropriate performance measurement processes are in place to manage service delivery and drive service improvements through data collection, performance metrics and learning reviews.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of the operational needs of pharmaceutical business

  • Ability to engage, interact and appropriately challenge with multiple customers at different levels across the business

  • Development of supplier partnerships to deliver immediate customer expectations, in addition to medium and long term strategic initiatives

  • Commercial knowledge of facility management contracts and supplier agreements

  • Ability to network internally & externally and to translate this into tangible business improvements

  • Demonstrable understanding of the AZ business agenda and how the FM can drive / impact business performance

  • Ability to deliver through others who they do not directly manage

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Facilities Management qualification (i.e IWFM)
  • Management & Leadership qualification (i.e. ILM)
  • Full working knowledge of GMP requirements related to service provisions in a manufacturing environment
