The company we are working with is looking for a Canteen Assistant on a part time basis (27 - 30 hours a week) – based in Melksham, Wiltshire.
This role will be primarily responsible to provide adequate support to the Canteen Supervisor daily, as well as deputising in the Canteen Supervisors' absence.
Their duties will include:
- Open & close procedures
- Daily kitchen management
- Cash handling
- End of day reports
- Food ordering
- Food preparation
- Kitchen hygiene standards
- Food service counter sales
Background and Skills
- 3 years catering experience
- current driving licence
- 2 references
- positive attitude
- 5 years’ work history
Desirable
- An excellent working knowledge of the Safer Food, Better Business Manual
- If not the aptitude and willingness to learn quickly, as training will be given.
