What you’ll be doing…
· Planning inbound container deliveries into the Network within defined parameters.
· Monitoring container performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Overseeing product availability throughout the Screwfix contract via direct inbound management – ensuring correct placement in the right place, first time.
· Safeguarding stock availability for ordering by owning and managing SKU switch toggles between picking DCs, utilizing comprehensive reporting to monitor sales, pent-up demand, forecasts, and upcoming events.
· Coordinating intersite transfer activities to maintain stock availability versus stocking days cover as required.
· Collaborating with customers to acquire precise data for seamless forward planning.
· Generating, maintaining, and disseminating reports across the network.
· Using knowledge and relationships to support in the design and construction of reports.
· Inputting and Analysis of values and statistics into our database from multiple sources.
· Establishing effective communication channels to enhance value.
· Identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
· Adhering rigorously to quality, health, and safety procedures to uphold a secure working environment for oneself and colleagues.
Requirements :
· Previous experience in a planning function within a distribution environment is advantageous, however candidates from all Warehouse functions are encouraged to apply, as full training will be provided.
· Possesses enthusiasm, proactivity, flexibility, and exceptional organizational skills.
· Demonstrates acute attention to detail.
· Exhibits accurate analytical prowess in a fast changing environment.
· Proficient in PC literacy, particularly in spreadsheets/MS Excel
· Displays flexibility and high self-motivation, crucial attributes for a time-critical operation.
