Salary Randstad are currently looking for a Capital Projects Technician to support the Flood Defence and Coastal Protection Project Manager in the delivery of the capital works programme.
Role: Capital Projects Technician
Location: Parc Myrddin, Carmarthen
Shifts: 37 hours per week (mainly from home)
Pay rate: £30,000 salary pro-rata
Responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive support to the delivery of our FCERM capital works programme, showing a degree of initiative and an ability to organise their day to day workload.
To lead with data collation, analysis and interpretation for internal and external reporting and to actively monitoring project benefits against their targets;
Act as a key point of contact between the client, consultants and contractors maintaining electronic document repositories and updating project time lines.

To support the project manager with the procurement of materials and services;
To support the project manager with site visits to assess proposed works but also oversee and monitor ongoing construction projects;
To support the project manager by attending meetings with contractors, consultants and members of the public pertaining to our capital works projects
To support the project manager with contract monitoring and review administration with external contractors;
