A leading company based in Totton is looking for a skilled Car Bodyshop Prepper/Spray Painter to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for automotive refinishing who is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Day to Day of the role:- Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and other prep work to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Apply paint to vehicles using industry-standard techniques, achieving a flawless finish.
- Perform minor vehicle body repairs, such as fixing scratches and dents.
- Accurately match and mix paint colours to meet vehicle specifications.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections to maintain our high standards of work.
- Keep precise records of all work performed on each vehicle.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a vehicle painter.
- Proficiency in spray painting techniques and colour matching.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
