Care Assistant

About the role

We are looking for either full or part time Care Assistants; with the added option of overtime. Full in house training provided including conducting the CQC Care Certificate, Diplomas level 2 & 3. Carers will work with existing and new clients in and around Allestree, Darley Abbey, Quarndon and Duffield.

Working as part of a friendly team, you will deliver person centred care in the client’s home. As a company, we are committed to providing a safe workplace. Responsibilities include supporting clients with:

• Washing & bathing using their preferred methods
• Toileting requirements and incontinence needs, whilst maintaining their privacy
• Administering medication
• Providing companionship, shopping trips, daily tasks, appointments
• Meal preparation

Specification

• Salary £12.00 per hour (Monday –Friday 7am – 8pm) to £13.00 per hour (Sat, Sun, BH, and after 8pm at night).
• 35p a mile allowance.
• UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential
• Early shift: 7am - 2pm / Late shift: 4pm - 10pm
• Flexibility with shifts
• Alternate weekends required

Contracted Hours

• 16hrs: 3 days
• 20hrs: 4 days
• 25hrs: 5 days
• 30hrs+: 5 days (including 1 all-day)
