Pay rate: £13.50 per hour ( Weekly pay)
Location: GU16 7UJ
Shift Pattern: Full time - Need to be flexible.
Requirements:
Previous experience with Autism and Mental Health and a full UK driver's license are both preferred but not essential.
We are looking for enthusiastic staff to work with a young person with autism and Mental Health in their family home on a part time basis.
If you are patient, empathetic, reliable, flexible, engaging and looking for a role that truly makes a difference to someone else's life then we would like to hear from you.
You will need to have the ability to remain positive, on difficult and challenging days.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of daily living and have the ability to help someone build everyday life skills. (Cooking, cleaning, shopping and planning)
• Helping to plan and organise leisure opportunities such as seeing favourite bands, walking, places of interest etc.
• Watching DVDs with them and joining in with specific interests. (You will need to be willing to learn about these)

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

• • UK driver's license preferred.
  • Previous Autism experience preferred.
  • Enthusiastic and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility as you may be required to go away with the person and their family on short breaks and holidays.
