Care Assistant

Remedicare are currently seeking Care Assistants for our clients residential home based in Maidstone.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential care and support for ages 65+ with mild and moderate dementia

Job Title: Care Assistant

Location: Maidstone

Salary: 11.30- 11.50 per hour

Contract: 24-48 hours per week

Shifts : nights available

11 hour shifts and alternate weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
• Assisting with mobility and transferring residents safely using appropriate equipment.
• Supporting residents with their nutritional needs, including meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Monitoring residents' health and reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care-related role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• A compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and alternate weekends.
• Must have a positive attitude and be committed to providing high-quality care to service users of all ages.
