We are seeking a skilled Administrator to play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of our residential mental health Care Home and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
As the Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions within our residential setting. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a smooth operation, supporting the care team, and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
This post is working an average of 36.25 hours per week Monday to Friday.
What you will be doing:
Supporting the Manager in undertaking specific administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the home in line with policies and procedures.
Maintaining accurate and confidential resident records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Documenting resident assessments, care plans, and any relevant changes in health status.
Managing billing, invoicing, and financial records in coordination with relevant departments.
Monitoring and reconciling accounts.
liaising between residents, their families, and the care team.
Handling inquiries and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Scheduling appointments and coordinating resident activities.
Collaborating with the care team to ensure proper staffing levels.
Ensuring the reception area is welcoming, tidy and always contains appropriate visitor information to agreed standards.
Inputting data onto systems to set timescales and accuracy.
Monitoring the CCTV operations on the site to ensure security is maintained.
What you will need:
Experience working in professional administration departments or in a similar role.
Business Management/Administration or similar qualifications.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, both with company information and staff information.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word knowledge.
Self-motivated and with a desire to improve systems within the business.
Be a Team player.
Ability to work under pressure and do multiple tasks.
Commercial awareness and can-do attitude.
