SalaryTezlom are looking for experienced Chefs to cover AGENCY shifts in Care Homes and Nursing Homes in and around Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Falkirk, and Stirling.
Who are we looking for?
At least 6 months UK experience of working in Care Home kitchens within the last 2 years.
You must be reliable, have excellent communication skills and be passionate about preparing food within the care sector.
Having a current driving licence and your own transport is an advantage.
You must have:
Proof of Right to Work in the UK
SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Hospitality/Catering/Practical Cookery
Food Hygiene Certificate at a minimum of Level 2
Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
Level 2 HACCP training certificate
Knowledge of nutrition, cultural and medical diets.
All successful applicants must have (or register for) PVG membership through Disclosure Scotland.
What does this role involve?
Prepare high quality and well-presented nutritious food in accordance with Health and Safety regulations. Comply with all specific dietary requirements of residents and monitor food stock levels.
