Location: Leatherhead, Surrey (Hybrid)

Salary: Circa £40k + Excellent Benefits

Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week

The Client:

Our client, a leading charitable organisation in the health and social care sector, specialises in personal care services, including washing, dressing, and operates a Day Unit for early-onset dementia.

The Role:

As a Care Operations Manager, you will lead the team of Senior Service Managers and work closely with HR to identify recruitment requirements.

Responsibilities:

-Allocate resources effectively within the organisation.
-Ensure adequate cover for the out-of-hours service.
-Work with the Head of Care Operations for compliance and safe practices.
-Establish effective communication with operations, training, compliance, and contracts teams.
-Provide supervision, coaching, and guidance to line management and care staff.
-Attend networking events to promote services.
-Collaborate with Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications for fundraising direction.
-Review Service Development Plan for overall compliance.
-Deputise in the absence of the Head of Care Operations.

Requirements:

-Previously worked as a Care Operations Manager or in a similar role.
-NVQ 5 in Leadership / Management in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
-Prior management experience.
-Experience in creating and auditing of risk assessments and care plans.
-Knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, and dementia strategies,
-Background in designing and writing reports for prompt information sharing.
-Understanding of safeguarding protocols with experience addressing related concerns.
-Skilled in IT, including Microsoft Office.
-Senior Leadership qualification in Health & Social Care (desirable).
-Valid UK driving licence with a roadworthy car.
