Location: Leatherhead, Surrey (Hybrid)

Salary: Circa £40k + Excellent Benefits

Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week

The Client:

Our client, a leading charitable organisation in the health and social care sector, specialises in personal care services, including washing, dressing, and operates a Day Unit for early-onset dementia.

The Role:

As a Care Operations Manager , you will lead the team of Senior Service Managers and work closely with HR to identify recruitment requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Allocate resources effectively within the organisation.
• Ensure adequate cover for the out-of-hours service.
• Work with the Head of Care Operations for compliance and safe practices.
• Establish effective communication with operations, training, compliance, and contracts teams.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and guidance to line management and care staff.
• Attend networking events to promote services.
• Collaborate with Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications for fundraising direction.
• Review Service Development Plan for overall compliance.
• Deputise in the absence of the Head of Care Operations.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a Care Operations Manager or in a similar role.
• NVQ 5 in Leadership / Management in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Prior management experience.
• Experience in creating and auditing of risk assessments and care plans.
• Knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, and dementia strategies,
• Background in designing and writing reports for prompt information sharing.
• Understanding of safeguarding protocols with experience addressing related concerns.
• Skilled in IT, including Microsoft Office.
• Senior Leadership qualification in Health & Social Care (desirable).
• Valid UK driving licence with a roadworthy car.
