Job description

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Care Team Member to work full time based in a Children's home in Natland.

The salary for this permanent Care Team Member job is up to £27,803

Main Duties:

* Ensure children's safety and well-being is appropriately always protected (including those who may go missing or may be at risk of harm, including exploitation, neglect, abuse, self-harm, bullying and radicalisation)

* Provide high standard help, care and support

* Actively promote tolerance, equality and diversity, and challenge any discriminatory behaviours

* Involved in the planning, review and recording of information linked to a particular child or children in a way which will help inform all those involved with the child to make considered decisions which will contribute to the child's success

* Bring an energy and positive outlook to the children we look after, in a way which models positive parenting and inspires children

Requirements of this job:

* Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this

* A minimum of 1 year experience working within Children's Residential Care

* Ability to show leadership skills

* Experience of managing budgets

* Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections
