About the RoleDrivers who have access to their own vehicle are essential to this Care Worker post.
Salary: Starting at £10.90-£12.43 per hour plus enhancements for bank holidays, travel time and mileage payments.
Hours of Work: Split shifts between 7am-11pm, Monday to Sunday (including, where possible alternate weekends and some evening work). Contracts available up to 37.5 hours per week.
Domiciliary Care Worker Duties:
- Confidently support people in a person-centred way
- Carry out personal care including bathing and toileting support
- Manage medication
- Prepare meals and drinks
- Assist people into the community using public transport
- Attend training and team meetings
- Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required
- Full Induction from internal trainer
- Pension scheme

- 24 hour on call team

Domiciliary Care Worker Requirements:
- Previous work experience in home care/residential care/hospital care as a Care Worker, carer, support worker or in a similar role
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills as described in the Duties section
- Able to follow instructions on both written and electronic care plans
- Literate in spoken and written English
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Update Service Adult Workforce Enhanced DBS (Highly desirable but can be issued following a successful interview)
