Salary: £27,687 - £29,669 per annum
35 Hours per Week
Location: County Hall, Worcester
Fixed Term Contracts (Until 31st March 2025 with view to extend), Part-Time
The Role:
Careers Worcestershire has a new and exciting role as a Careers and Employment Advisor. Supporting young people aged 16-24 into positive destinations to achieve their career aspirations. As a Careers and Employment advisor you will be part of a dynamic team using our young person centred approach that supports young people into employment, education or training.
Careers Worcestershire provides young people with a safe, friendly, inclusive, and welcoming environment where they can access helpful support and advice.
In delivering the role, you will empower young people through group and individual mentoring sessions.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working directly with young people aged 16-24, being able to engage and relate well to this age group, including those who are vulnerable or in crisis.
You will ideally have experience of delivering 1:1 or group mentoring sessions and knowledge of the fundamentals of mentoring and youth work, along with experience of designing and developing resources for young people.
