Careers, Information and Guidance Advisor

NJC Scale 6, pts 18 - 22, £25,709 - £28,149

37 hours per week, TTO + 5 days, Permanent 

Trinity High School & Sixth Form centre, part of the Bordesley MAT is looking for a passionate Careers, Information and Guidance Advisor with an appropriate Qualification in Career Development, to join our school.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, providing one-to-one and group careers guidance to help inspire and motivate young people.

We are looking for a candidate who will have:

  • Level 6 Qualification in Career Guidance and Development or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with young people aged 13-18 years.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to adapt your style according to the situation.
  • Ability to confidently use virtual communication platforms such as MS Teams.
  • Good IT skills and experience working with databases.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the secondary education system.
