We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the premises, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all users of the facility. This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.
Day-to-day of the role (Duties could include):- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform minor repairs.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the facility by performing routine cleaning tasks and organising larger scale clean-ups when necessary.
- Set up furniture and equipment for events and rearrange as needed.
- Monitor the security of the building, reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules and completed tasks.
- Previous experience in a caretaker or maintenance role.
- Basic knowledge of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
