Job Summary
 

As a Data Migration Consultant specializing in CARL (SLM), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition of data from legacy systems to enterprise CARL environments. Your expertise will be critical in designing, planning, and executing complex data migration projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities
 

Assessment and Analysis:

•    Conduct thorough assessments of existing data structures, sources, and formats.
•    Analyze business requirements and system specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of data migration needs.

•    CARL Functional Expertise:

•    Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with CARL Function, understanding its capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data migration strategies with overall business objectives.

Planning and Strategy:

•    Develop comprehensive data migration plans, outlining timelines, resource requirements, and potential risks.
•    Work closely with project stakeholders to define migration strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
•    Execution and Implementation:

•    Implement data migration processes, utilizing CARL functionalities for optimal results.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues during migration, ensuring data integrity and system stability.

Quality Assurance:

•    Establish and enforce data quality standards, validating migrated data for accuracy and completeness.
•    Collaborate with QA teams to conduct thorough testing of migration processes.
•    Documentation and Training:

•    Create detailed documentation for data migration processes, including technical specifications and user guides.
•    Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on new data structures and functionalities.
 

Qulifications
 

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
•    Proven experience as a Data Migration Consultant with a focus on CARL.
•    Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.
•    Proficiency in SQL, data mapping, and transformation processes.
•    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
