Carpenter & Joiner - Birmingham - £60,000 Per annum

(Self Employed Contractor)

My client is a market leading restoration business, servicing the leisure and hospitality industries. They provide a broad spectrum of refurbishment and renovation solutions and are the supplier of choice to some of the UK’s leading leisure and hospitality companies. They currently seek to appoint an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to join their friendly team of contract carpenter 's and Joiner 's to carry out carpentry-based restoration work across multiple sites.

As Carpenter & Joiner for the business, you will be required to work aqt different locations, during November to April to carry out field based work during off season. During May to October you will be mainly based in Rednal, Birmingham. (All accomodations, meals, mileage and expenses will be paid for on top of salary)

The appointed Carpenter / Joiner will be working on a self-employed basis and operate as part of a highly skilled team of professionals to perform the following:

Carpenter/ Joiner Duties & responsibilities:

• Fabrication and installation of fitted bedroom and lounge furniture
• Bespoke commercial carpentry and kitchen repair and installations
• Working on 1st and 2nd fix joinery

Carpenter / Joiner Requirements:

• Own Tools
• Own Van (preferred but not essential)
• Time served craftsman in relevant disciplines
• Previous experience in the discipline area.
• Appreciation of industry safety standards and procedures
• Personal and Plant safety
• Takes responsibilities for own actions

Carpenter / Joiner Benefits:
