About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our CASS Oversight team as a CASS Oversight Analyst. You will provide protection for our clients' money and assets through oversight activities to help maintain and develop our regulatory control environment. You will support the management team in the operation, maintenance and development of HL's CASS/Safeguarding governance and oversight frameworks.

What you'll be doing

  • Helping to perform regular checks over areas of high CASS risk and ad hoc/thematic reviews of emerging areas of CASS risk.
  • Supporting with breach oversight and reporting including breach/incident analysis.
  • Helping to ensure that CASS risks from organisational change are identified and managed effectively.
  • Support the oversight and analysis of MI and information provided by CASS impacting business areas to ensure CASS risks are identified and controlled effectively.
  • Assist with the preparation of reporting to individuals and committees charged with governance on oversight activities performed.
  • Supporting the delivery of effective CASS assurance activities including external CASS and Safeguarding audits and working with 3LoD teams to enhance CASS compliance.
  • Helping more senior members of the team with business partnering activities to build a strong CASS culture of continuous improvement.

About you

  • Prior knowledge/experience of financial services and/or CASS regulations.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Able to work in a team or alone and effectively collaborate to achieve common goals plus the ability to self-manage competing workloads & effectively prioritise.
  • Keen sense of curiosity and a learning mindset; persistence, resilience and an eagerness to embrace challenges.

Interview process

This will be a one stage interview process, consisting of competency and behavioural questions.

Working Schedule

This role is based in our Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
