Brooklands Museum is the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, and the home of Concorde. Located on the 30-acre site of the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit and the most productive aircraft factories in Europe in the twentieth century, Brooklands Museum welcomes around 185,000 visitors each year. These are made up of members of the public, Brooklands Members, VIPs, corporate hospitality guests and school groups.

We want everyone coming to the Museum to have the very highest quality experience and for their time spent at the Museum to be memorable, enjoyable and inspiring. This is not only for our visitors, although they are an absolute priority, but also for our volunteers and staff. We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals with a passion for delivering the very best customer service to join and support our café team, with shifts typically being 8 hours long between the hours of 9.00am-5:30pm, across any of the 7 days per week. The Museum is open 7 days a week and our Sunbeam Café provides a range of delicious hot and cold food and drinks for our visitors.


You'll be supporting our team by:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of the café - helping prepare it for opening and closing, this will involve lifting chairs and moving tables
  • Being part of the café service team
  • Acting as a Barista, taking hot drink orders and preparing them whilst the guest waits
  • Taking hot food orders at the till
  • Restocking our fridges
  • Delivering food to guests sitting inside or outside
  • Cash handling
  • Working closely with the kitchen teams
  • Supporting our Hospitality team with set up, clear down of rooms for functions and with food/ drink service when needed
  • Working in pop up catering outlets for big events which may be outside
