Casual Cleaners - Connexin Live, Hull

Connexin Live is a state-of-the-art, music and events complex with a capacity of up to 4,000 people that will allow Hull to attract large corporate conferences, exhibitions, and trade events as well as major touring concerts, stand-up comedy, family shows and sporting events. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our cleaning team, working on a casual event driven basis.

Main Duties

• To ensure that the venue and all facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
• Refilling and restocking of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas during events including reactive cleaning as required.
• Emptying bins and disposal of waste.
• Maintaining stock and ensuring the safe storage of all cleaning consumables.
• Assist the events team in the set-up and break-down of areas as required.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed.
• To follow applicable Health and Safety and COSHH protocols
• To work with the wider events team in ensuring we deliver an excellent customer experience.

Skills & Competencies required:

Essential:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role.
• An interest in working in a busy live events environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Experience of manual handling and COSHH
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.

Desirable:

• Awareness of health and safety issues associated with working in an events venue.

Full on the job training will be provided for all successful candidates.

Rate of Pay: £10.50 p/h
