Why Lancaster?
We’re an award-winning, kind, and responsible council, and we’re incredibly proud of our district and communities that reach from the coast to the mountains, including the historic City of Lancaster, Morecambe, Carnforth and many other beautiful places.
The Role
Lancaster City Council is looking for customer-focused individuals to join our busy Customer Services team to support with the renewals of our Garden Waste Subscription Service.
This role will involve handling calls and addressing queries from residents across the district who would like to renew their Garden Waste Subscription. Individuals will need to ensure that accurate data is recorded and be able to take payments over the telephone. Therefore, the ability to input work accurately and at pace is essential. Please note that full training will be provided.
These posts are casual. These posts are to support with approximately 2 months’ worth of work and availability to work afternoons on weekdays would be preferable. The posts are based at Morecambe Town Hall.
We would also be keen to hear from current casuals within the council who are looking for more hours.
