An intelligent and fun loving 27 year old young man with cerebral palsy requires an enthusiastic Support Worker to support him in his own home in Spalding and in the community with all aspects of daily living. The Support Worker will work as part of a team to provide direct care, to allow the young man to develop his independent living skills and continue to enjoy an active social life.
Hours of work
24 hour shifts required to cover staff holidays or sickness, made up of 14 hour day shifts and 10 hour sleeping night shifts
Rate of pay
- £11.50 day rate
- £23.00 bank holiday day rate
- £10.42 sleeping night rate
Qualifications
- Previous experience of working with adults with additional needs is preferred.
- Applicants must be flexible around availability for work.
- Applicants must hold a valid clean driver’s licence in order to drive the client’s car.
- All training will be provided
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
