Red Bull UK is recruiting for an Category Analyst Intern for 3 months to be based in London, UK.

As the Impulse Category Analyst your role will be to support the Category Manager to ensure they have the right insights, strategy & tools to build their external relationships. You will work across the Impulse channel, with specific focus on Independent Wholesale Customers, but also supporting the Category Manager on National Impulse Customers. You will be responsible for providing Soft Drinks Insights to key customers, building planogram recommendations and supporting the Category Manager and National Account Managers with key data and insights to aid their recommendations. In addition you will work closely with the Field Sales teams, providing them with information to increase sales when in store. This will include providing the teams with regular updates, as well as working with them to execute local category projects. This is a paid internship. The internship runs from the 10th June 2024 to 6th September 2024. You must be available for the whole duration of the programme.

Insights

Providing data-driven insights, analyses and recommendations to strategic customers that optimise long-term category growth by positively shaping strategy on: range & distribution, space, merchandising & availability
Providing insights, analyses and recommendations to NAMs that help to optimise Red Bull performance

Building relationships

Developing effective, credible relationships within strategic customers with buyers, Category Merchandising manager, Category Marketing Manager and the internal Red Bull team

Strategic vision

Aligning all activities and plans with the Red Bull category vision and strategic growth drivers
Delivering channel-wide initiatives that help to deliver Red Bull Strategic objectives

Testing and trialing

Designing, implementing and measuring trials that test category building initiatives

Qualifications

We're not looking for experience or qualifications. Instead, we want someone who is:
A keen interest in creating a story from data
A desire to learn and “get things done”
Curious about the wider business and development opportunities
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Numeracy and an eye for detail, capable of working quickly to a high standard of accuracy
Communicate information effectively verbally and in writing
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products
Uses problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure, prioritising own work and the work of the team in an organised and accurate manner within tight deadlines, keeping calm and focussed
Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
