This is a full-time, permanent role that offers hybrid working, flexibility, and the option to work a 9-day fortnight.
You would be reporting into the Head of Strategic Procurement and managing a small team of driven professionals.

Your new role
In this role you will be:

• Preparing annual commodity plans to ensure best practice and value for money
• Managing and overseeing the strategic and operational procurement for the Labs category
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Managing and maintaining contracts and negotiate to achieve best value and savings
• Mitigating supply chain risk through vendor management
• Managing a small team of procurement professionals

What you\'ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will:

• Be MCIPS qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Have previous knowledge in a similar category
• Have experience in end-to-end procurement
• Be able to motivate and manage a team
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
