Position: Corporate Procurement Lead

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary Range:

• <2 years' experience: £35,392
• 2-5 years' experience: £37,350
• 5+ years' experience: £42,618

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
• Lead procurement projects, from initial sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic guidance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and policies, promoting best practices across the organisation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in procurement, with a minimum of 2 years for mid-level roles and 5+ years for senior roles.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices within the Public Sector.
• Studying towards or CIPS level 4 qualified.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to drive change and influence decision-making.
