Category Manager - Construction - Energy | Hybrid
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 / Location: London.
I'm looking for an experienced Category Manager to join a global consultancy operating in over 100 countries. Do you want to influence global change from high end offices in one of the most exciting cities in the world?
As Category Manager you'll lead construction and energy categories at a major consultancy. Primarily working from home, you'll also operate 1-2 days per week at their bases in London.
As a Category Manager , you'll expect to:
- Utilise a worldwide network to deliver inquiries, insights, and innovative solutions within the renewable energy
- Manage categories within construction scope, including but not limited to energy, construction, defence or rail.
- Leverage cutting-edge technology to propel growth and foster innovation. Blend creativity with unwavering determination to guide global clients toward achieving net zero
- Optimise of supply chain and strategic procurement processes.
- Engage closely with essential stakeholders, delivering bespoke solutions that surpass expectations in the realm of indirect procurement.
As a Category Manager, you'll have experience in:
- Indirect Procurement: Comprehensive knowledge of procurement and supply chain management.
- Category Management: Energy, rail, construction, defence, or infrastructure.
- Leading large projects: Proficiency in assisting complex renewable energy projects and providing comprehensive reports to upper management.

As a Category Manager, you'll have the following Qualifications:
- MCIPS accredited or willing to work towards accreditation.
Preferable
- Degree related to procurement, supply chain and operations, or relevant experience.
- Experience working in one of the following sectors: Construction, utilities, energy, defence, or infrastructure sectors.
