Job Description
- Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure optimal cost management.
- Identifying potential supply risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with the procurement and supply chain team to meet company objectives.
- Analysing market trends and supplier performance to inform sourcing strategies.
- Contributing to sustainability goals by sourcing from environmentally responsible suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all sourcing activities.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure supply needs are met efficiently and effectively.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sourcing Manager should have:
- CAPEX or Facilities Management procurement exposure
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement practices.
- Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for cost management.
- An understanding of risk management in the supply chain.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing supplier relationships.
