Description
- Develop and implement Procurement strategies across Hard FM categories
- Be flexible and agile to ensure key stakeholders are provided with a sufficient level of support
- Lead the end-to-end tender process
- Obtain value for money when procuring goods and services
- Provide expert advice on Procurement matters to internal teams
- Drive continuous improvement within the Procurement function
- Work effectively and efficiently with a proactive approach to any given situation
- Ensure all purchasing matters adhere to the organisations regulations
Profile
A successful Category Manager should have:
- Proven experience in Procurement, Public Sector desirable but not essential
- Some knowledge of Hard FM categories (NEC3/JCT)
- Open to learning JCT/NEC3/Legal Contracts
- Open to personal development
- Stakeholder engagement, negotiation and management skills
- Experience leading a small team
- PCR2015 experience is desirable but not essential
- A track record of delivering cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Strong knowledge of Procurement regulations and policies
