Category Manager (Indirect Services)

Are you ready to play a crucial role in leading the charge in the digital transformation of a leading financial institution? We're seeking a Category Manager to join our client’s team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their Marketing and Property Services categories.

If you are someone who has previous category management experience particularly in Indirect Services (ideally in brand/marketing & property services) with experience of working within a regulated environment, take a look.

Your Responsibilities:

• Steering and developing procurement initiatives for business units within the designated categories.
• Formulating and executing category strategies, ensuring optimal engagement models, and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, both internal and external, to cultivate robust relationships and achieve savings targets.
• Taking the lead in tendering processes, complex procurement initiatives, and delivering commercially attractive terms and conditions for the Bank.
• Offering leadership and guidance on sourcing approaches across Vendor Management (VM) and Procurement.

Your Qualifications:

• Previous category management experience specifically in Indirect Services.
• Resilience and confidence to navigate a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with sourcing strategies, industry trends, and innovative negotiation techniques.
• Knowledge in Brand / Marketing and Property Services Procurement (desirable).
• Expertise in procurement, sourcing, outsourcing, and offshoring.
• Ability to comprehend and analyse complex contractual documentation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing landscape.
