Up for grabs is a wonderful opportunity for a Category Manager role supporting the Own Brand team through the development and implementation of category strategies to help achieve overall growth targets and support company objectives.

The role will require you to analyse market trends and customer feedback to anticipate consumer buying patterns and explore opportunities. The Category Manager will use data analysis to understand industry trends and consumer behaviours.  This role will interface with several functions, i.e., sales, customer development and commercial and is pivotal in driving category understanding. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams in the planning, design, launch, management, and review of products within the category.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role within FMCG and a successful track record in customer relationship management while being proficient in MSOffice functions, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.

You will be thorough, meticulous and organisation will be key for you. Knowledge of the healthcare market and an understanding of our key competitors would be advantageous as well as prior knowledge and experience in Category Management and buying.

You will be a team-playing self-starter and be able to demonstrate initiative, identifying commercial opportunities and efficiencies. With strong attention to detail and a desire for things to be ‘done right’, excellent interpersonal skills will be evident along with a ‘can do’ attitude. We’re in this together!
