Catering and Cleaning - PVG Required

Brightwork have amazing opportunities for Kitchen Porters and Cleaning staff across the East Renfrewshire area
The successful cleaning candidates will be responsible for:
- General housekeeping of public areas including dusting, polishing, emptying bins and recycling.
- Cleaning and stocking of bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and communal area's
- General cleaning and domestic duties as required.
The successful Catering Staff will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food
- Ensuring the Kitchen is kept clean and tidy, ensuring high food hygiene standards are maintained.
- ensuring that all required utensils are available - this will include the use of the dish washer, loading and unloading.
- General Kitchen Duties to ensure the smooth running of meal times.
The successful workers will:
- Be an experienced Cleaner / Housekeeper / Kitchen Porter / Catering Assistant
- Have the ability to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative.
- Good communication skills with the ability to take direction from supervisor / manager.
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workload.
- The ability to commit to temporary ongoing work and provide working references.
- Be friendly, approachable and respectful of services users and residents
Pay rates are very competitive and wages are paid weekly!
Part time and full time shifts available across days, evenings and weekends.
Please note that due to the nature of our client's business - successful candidates will be required to obtain PVG membership at their own cost, a current PVG would be an advantage.
