A Catering Assistant post is available at Risca Comprehensive School for 1.5 hours per day, working 7.5 hours per week.
The purpose of the role is to provide a catering service within the school, the successful candidate may be required to work at other locations throughout the Caerphilly Borough.
The requirements of the role will be to supervise others in the workplace, working within the guidelines set out by Caerphilly Catering Services ensuring correct performance standards are achieved. The successful candidate will need to possess excellent staff management skills.
As a Catering Assistant, you will work under the supervision of the supervisor/manager providing the catering service whilst observing all food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
For the role, we ask that you have:
1. Level 2 Food Safety Or ability to undertake and achieve the qualification within 3 months of appointment.
2. Understands the role to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
3. The ability to communicate effectively.
