Responsibilities for the role of Catering Assistant
- Responsible for the efficient and timely preparation of quality meals and beverages
- To carry out general cleaning tasks to ensure hygiene and working standards fall in line with regulatory and company standards
- To effectively manage within budgetary constraints and supply stock level
- Using all pre-populated recipes and allergen content in production recipes as per the company guidance
- Support the daily checks for COSHH, Fire, and accident measures
- Observe allergen precautions
- Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to
- To ensure that adequate products, equipment, and materials are properly used and stored
Person Specification
- Preferably have had experience in the catering or Hospitality industry
- Be of a proactive mindset
- Must be IT literate
- Must possess people management skills
- The ability to work and communicate within a team is of utmost importance
