Salary NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern is 6 hours per day worked between 07.00-17.00 on a rotational basis (30 hours).

The Cook Freeze Production Unit at Royal Alexandra Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the Catering Assistant and food production team.
Main duties will be to work throughout the Cook Freeze Production Unit including working for long periods of time inside freezer storage rooms at air temperatures below -18⁰c.
Duties will include decanting heavy loads, portioning and packing large volumes of food in line with departmental procedures.
Duties will also include ensuring that the unit is cleaned to defined cleaning schedules and expected standards.
A certificate in elementary food hygiene is preferred but not essential for the role as is previous experience in working in a large scale food production/catering environment
