We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our team at Ysgol Bro Pedr, Lampeter on a permanent, part time basis.

The role includes:

• General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen at all times
• Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards

On a day-to-day basis you will:

• General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds
• Setting up the tables and clearing as required
• Recording the temperature of food
• Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards
• Ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling
• General Health and Safety of kitchen including hazardous equipment

• Experience/knowledge of working within a catering environment
• Adaptability
