Open Ended Contract Full Time 35 hours per week 1 Post Available We are looking for a Catering Manager to join our growing team. The Opportunity: We are recruiting for a Catering Manager for our restaurant in the new Edinburgh Futures Institute, due to open in late spring 2024. This is a very exciting opportunity to join us pre-opening and be involved in the business from the start. Based at the heart of the Meadows, in the beautifully renovated old Royal Infirmary, the operation will consist of a 60 cover, contemporary Scottish Brasserie, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside a more informal Grab & Go takeaway offer served during the day. Working closely with the Head Chef and with the support of the Head of Catering Operations for Retail, you will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the operation, from delivering exceptional service and growing income to recruitment, HR requirements, stock control, merchandising and P & L accountability. This is a hands-on role, where you will lead from the front, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards. To succeed in this role, you will have experience managing a similar high street, high volume restaurant operation.
