Catering Supervisor

We have an exciting perm opportunity for an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our Loughborough based clients busy outlet. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of food, beverage, and service for all customers, as well as managing staff and financial aspects of the business.

Location: Loughborough
Salary: 12.39 an hour.

Main Duties:

• Work towards increasing business within the outlet as set out by the General Manager.
• Create and issue staff rotas within set guidelines.
• Manage daily operations, supervise staff, and handle cash/card takings, ensuring tills are balanced at the end of the day.
• Order stock within set budget controls and maintain records of staff training and annual leave requests.
• Maintain daily standards of practice in line with Health & Safety and Environmental Health Office regulations.
• Manage staffing resources on-site to deliver high-quality service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing an outlet or similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Financial acumen with experience in managing cash/card transactions.
• Competency in covering both cooking/kitchen and front of house operations.
• Knowledge of stock ordering and budget control.
• Familiarity with Health & Safety and EHO standards.
• Ability to work flexibly, including outside of normal working hours, and to be a key holder.
• Willingness to attend training courses, conferences, seminars, or meetings as required.

Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours.
Working pattern of 5 days out of 7.
Participation in training and development opportunities as needed.
