Catering Supervisor/CookHullFixed Term - 18 Month ContractSalary: £19,150.98 per annum pro rata37 hours per week, 40 weeks per yearAs our Catering Supervisor, you will support the manager to supervise staff within the catering team to ensure the smooth running on the catering services.

Responsibilities of our Catering Supervisor/Cook:Prepare, cook and serve foods and beverages as required.
Setup and clear away counter as required.
Clean and tidy (operate appropriate equipment for completing cleaning tasks), in service, preparation and dining areas.
Handle cash, operate cash registers and complete cashing up procedures as required.
Maintenance of temperature monitoring records for hot and cold foods in service and storage areas, in accordance with procedures and legal standards.
Responsible for ensuring high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring catering hygiene practices are followed at all times in accordance with Food Service Policy, and written/verbal instructions.
Supervise and organise the Catering team, ensuring legal and procedural standards are adhered to.
Lead the Catering team and oversee food preparation to agreed standards.
Organise and undertake cleaning duties within the Catering service and preparation areas.
Deal with any incidents, complaints or irregularities.
What we’re looking for in our Catering Supervisor/Cook:Level 2 in Food Hygiene Safety
Minimum of Level 1 in Literacy and Numeracy, or be willing to work towards this qualification
Supervisory experience in a catering environment.
Experience in stock control and ordering
Ability to work as part of a team
Admin experience, checking and filing catering records and till admin
Verbal and written communication skills
