The Role
We are looking to recruit a Food Technician for our SEND student Training restaurant and shop. The person must be in good physical health, be a highly organised, self-motivated and have excellent communication, ICT and numeracy skills. The ability to drive is preferrable.
The successful candidate would be responsible for all aspects of food safety within the kitchen and restaurant and therefore would have sound knowledge of food safety requirements or would be willing to undertake immediate training.
Key responsibilities of the role would include placing orders for food and kitchen managing the finances setting up the resources for the lessons.
The successful candidate would need to work closely with the catering lecturers to plan menus for the restaurant.
