About the role
We monitor over 300 public space CCTV cameras, partnering with various agencies to oversee CCTV operations, handling emergency calls, and managing alarm systems, 24/7 365 days a year.
As part of the Safer Communities Team, you'll play a vital role in fulfilling our council's objectives. We need someone who is flexible and able to work shifts, including nights and weekends. Proficiency with I.T. is a must, along with excellent customer service and communication skills.
Please note that this position requires full NPPV-level 2 police vetting and the ability to obtain SIA CCTV Licence. Full training will be provided.
This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975
This position is currently based at the CCTV Emergency Control Room in the Town Hall, Weston super Mare.
