To provide a professional, accurate and effective public CCTV monitoring service. To co-operate with partners/other agencies in reducing crime and the fear of crime in the area of the scheme coverage. To ensure the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained is secure at all times by strict compliance with Cheshire West & Chester’s CCTV operational procedures and code of practice.

Cheshire West and Chester Council are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated person to join their CCTV service. The successful candidate will operate and monitor all systems, within the CCTV control room to ensure the safety and security of people and property within public areas and other facilities.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and will work closely with partnership agencies such as the police and enforcement officers.
The control room operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year must have a flexible approach to work, including Bank Holiday and weekend work. The role will be subject to full police vetting procedures.
