The Cell and Battery Modelling Engineerwill:
- Coordinate model development & testing around the V-cycle.
- Develop high-fidelity battery Cell and pack models (both ECM based and Physics-based).
- Support software development teams and optimizing the models for software integration and testing.
- Establish cell & battery model development processes with serial production intent.
- Define model requirements, features, and parameterisation processes.
The Cell and Battery Modelling Engineerwill have:
- Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in Battery Modelling in automotive and/or mobility sector including physics-based modelling for estimation & controls.
- Awareness of EV technologies, components and specifically battery management systems, sensors, and actuators.
- Good understanding of batteries and electrochemistry.
- Proficiency in mathematical modelling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and simulation software for battery systems.
