Salary A Reading-based biotechnology company is seeking a Cell Biologist with experience in tissue culture and in vivo experiments to join their team focused on the development of novel therapeutics. This is an excellent opportunity for an established research associate within industry to take the step into a Scientist-level role.
As a Cell Biologist you will develop and conduct a range of conduct tissue and organ culture, perform histology, immunocytochemistry, and microscopy to support the R&D team in understanding target mechanisms. You will also be involved in general laboratory maintenance, including stock management and ensuring compliance with CL2 standards.
Requirements for this role include:
BSc or MSc in relevant discipline;Proven experience in a relevant role, ideally within industry;Significant experience in tissue culture, ideally 3D tissue culture models;Experience in cryosectioning and microtoming.
