About this opportunity
We are looking for a Commercial Contract Manager to join the NMS Central team supporting new opportunities and post contract management with our customers within the Market Area Europe and Latin America Commercial Management organization.
What you will do
- Be part of a central pool of Contract Managers who will be aligned to a CU or group of CU’s to provide support to new opportunities in that region as well as support with existing customer challenges.
- Support in the development of the NMS Contract Management strategy and it’s delivery across MELA.
- Provide training, workshops to the wider MELA contract management community to support continual development and community learning
- Handle and coordinate contract management tasks and activities as opportunities progress from qualification through proposal, contract negotiation and execution.
- Implement your role according to good industry practice and adhering to Ericsson Sales Process.
- Guide and assist on interpretation of contractual clauses and obligations as required by the business with reference to Group Legal.
- Establish strict contractual scope bounding to protect against any profit leakage through scope creep.
- Support the resolution commercial disputes and settlements relating to the contracted scope.
You will bring
- University degree or equivalent experience in Law/Business Administration/Finance/Engineering or equivalent or a solid track record in contract management.
- Experience in dealing with customers and management at all levels
- Clear demonstration of optimally delivering process improvement and strategic approaches to contract management across an organization.
- Awareness of contractual and business law
- Good appreciation of operational and financial issues
- Creative, innovative mind-set to spot opportunities
- Confidence to work self-managed in a fast paced and exciting environment
- WorldCC certification or equivalent is a plus
- Knowledge of telecommunications projects (Network roll-out, Managed Services or Digital Service portfolio) are a plus
- Proficiency English both written and oral are a must, additional multiple languages are a plus
- Applications from all MELA Geographical Locations are preferred
