We’re seeking a skilled Regulatory Compliance professional to report to the Senior Manager Central Global Banking (GB), Commercial Banking (CMB), Research and Control Room Regulatory Compliance.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring internal and external regulations and Controls to mitigate any Regulatory Compliance risks and will also be expected to keep abreast of any regulatory developments. You’ll also be expected to liaise with senior stakeholder’s and wider teams to deliver a consistent Regulatory Compliance service.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Central GB, CMB, Research and Control Room Regulatory Compliance Manager.

In this role, you will:

•     Provide Regulatory Compliance advice and support in respect of the GB, CMB, and Research activities.
•    Have the ability to identify, analyse and interpret Regulatory Compliance risks and regulatory developments in order to gauge its impact on the business.
•    Be involved in transformation programmes and business committees with the ability to look at strategic initiatives through a regulatory compliance lens.
•    Be able to understand, follow and demonstrate Regulatory Compliance with all internal and external regulations and procedures that affect the GB, CMB and Research business lines.
•    Liaise with relevant senior stakeholders and functional teams to provide expertise and support on all Regulatory Compliance related matters.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Experience in a Controls, Regulatory or Legal background gained from one of the following lines of business, Global Banking, Research, or Control Room.
•    Evidence of leading material change, ideally across a global/complex and/or matrix environment. 
•    Prior knowledge of regulations with through ability to keep abreast of regulatory developments and market standards in order to ensure compliance.
•    Proven ability to influence executive and senior management and articulate clear business reasons for change initiatives.

The base location for this role is London / Hybrid.
