Centre Manager

The Bikeability Trust are seeking to recruit a part-time member of staff to carry out management duties for a newly created ‘Recognised Delivery Centre’, responsible for delivering cycle instructor training across England.

The post-holder will be responsible for the day to day running and operations of the centre, including being the main point of contact for the Awarding Organisation, currently 1st4sport.

The Centre Manager will have management duties for the Centre Administrator, and a small team of tutor/assessors. Ensuring the delivery of an ambitious plan of training courses, the Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training, and the Level 3 Award in Developing Cycle Training Instructors. They will work with stakeholders in the Bikeability training industry including local authorities, training providers, satellite partners and other RDCs to meet targets.

They will manage matters of compliance with regulatory policies, including ensuring that requirements around equality, equal opportunities, and non-discrimination are met.
