We're currently looking for a Change Implementation Lead on a full time, permanent basis.
This position sits within the Change team, hybrid based from our Glasgow or London office or remote in the UK.
The job
Reporting to the Head of Change on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:
Supporting Directorates to develop their organisational and cultural capability through the diagnosis, design and delivery of change initiatives aligned to corporate priorities and delivery of strategy.
Challenge and influence to ensure change activity is focussed appropriately and delivered. Apply enterprise change thinking during design of change to help embed transformational changes for the organisation.
Apply change methodologies where appropriate like PROSCI and or Lean Six Sigma methodology where appropriate, identifying scope, prioritising change opportunities, translate where needed, strategy into action through change initiatives to ensure achievement of the organisational strategy. Regularly review change activities to ensure ongoing alignment.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure ongoing support and advocacy for change initiatives.
Identify critical business processes and apply suitable change methodologies to achieve financially sustainable change and improved customer experience - considering mitigation of risk.
Identify key SMEs and influencers for core project/programme input. Ensure appropriate guidance is given on expectations of the role. Identify and assess barrier points to execution of change, create plans to address that enable delivery and embedding of the change initiative.
Create and manage change delivery or integration plans that are fully aligned to the transformation roadmap and the sequence of change necessary to achieve the 2025 strategy.
The person
We're looking for someone who:
Has exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
Has excellent active listening skills and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels to enable influence of others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Is, flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations in a complex environment with the ability to work collaboratively with team and through others.
Has the ability to demonstrate and apply enterprise systems or organisational thinking with business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
Is, highly skilled and experienced in change management and delivery. Experienced and knowledgeable of change management principles, methodologies and tools e.g., PROSCI, Lean Six Sigma. Familiarity with Business Architecture, Organisational design and project management approaches, inc. awareness of tools and project lifecycle phases.
Is comfortable working and influencing at all levels of the organisation to design, deliver and embed change.
Can balance a strong customer focus with what might be a competing need for financially sustainable change.
Can take ownership and responsibility of their own work and make and inform decisions at the right level.
