Change Programme Manager

CHANGE PROGRAMME MANAGER - 9 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT - INSIDE IR35

Loriens Leading Public Sector client is looking for highly skilled Change Programme Manager to join their team on an initial 9 month contract with good chance of extension. This is a part time position/ 2.5 days per week

Essential skills

1. Leadership, strategic thinking, decision-making, good organisation, problem solving, adaptability, conflict resolution, excellent communication skills and experience of coaching/mentoring are all essential skills;
2. The candidate must be a suitably qualified Programme / Project Manager with relevant experience and/or accreditation (such as MSP/Prince 2);
3. Experience in delivering transformational change projects is required (ideally in a public sector environment);
4. The candidate should also have strong knowledge and understanding of the complexities involved in introducing change to the public sector, multi-agency approach, collaboration, partnership etc.

Desirable skills

• Experience of introducing a programme & project management approach to a division that hasn't operated in this way before is desirable;
• The candidate should have an understanding of the sensitivity of introducing a change management programme within a well-established function.
• They should have the necessary skills and awareness to fulfil the role of Change Programme Manager including experience of leading Change Management in other similar environments and experience of engagement and coaching/mentoring to support the change.
• Experience of delivering change within an Agile Programme environment is also desirable
